Over the past 30 years, real estate professional Kenneth Slaught has established himself as one of the most successful real estate investors in Santa Barbara. He has purchased and sold more than $1 billion in residential and commercial real estate along the Southern California coast. In conjunction with his principal partners, Kenneth Slaught has developed and sold over 1,000 residential properties on 25 individual housing developments.
Kenneth Slaught is the founder and president of Investec Real Estate Companies, a real estate management firm overseeing more than 3 million square feet of real estate along the coast of California. Established in 1983 as a small real estate investment company, Investec has since grown into the largest real estate management company in the Santa Barbara region. In his leadership role with Investec, Kenneth Slaught manages and develops $750 million in current real estate assets, overseeing a team of 40 employees at the Santa Barbara office.
Before starting his career in real estate, Kenneth Slaught received a bachelor of arts in business and economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). A competitive basketball player since his high school years in Pasadena, he attended UCSB on a varsity basketball scholarship. After completing his undergraduate studies, he went on to receive his California Real Estate Broker’s license.
In the philanthropic sector, Kenneth Slaught serves on the board of Dream Foundation, Storyteller Children’s Center, the UCSB Foundation. He currently resides with his wife in Santa Barbara.
